The guitarist, composer and producer Gabi Martínez, began to play when he was 8 and he bought her first electrical guitar when he was 12 years old.
After a short period of classical learning, he received private lessons in harmony, composition and performance, trying to supplement his training.
He also attended several master classes and seminars of several renowned musicians as Robben Ford, John Parsons, Paul Gilbert, Jose de Castro, David Muñoz “Gnaposs” Juan de la Oliva or Angel Celada, among others.
Besides this, he finished his studies in electrical engineering.
As a session musician he has recorded and worked with various international artists such as PerroZompopo (nominated for Latin Grammys), Karamba, Fulanito de Tal (winner of the latest edition of Factor X in Spain), Mariano Chueca (Distrito14, Historia de un grupo de rock), Quique Mavilla (Amaral, Rulo y la Contrabanda), Alonso Martínez, José Luis Arrazola…
Last year has been playing at the NAMM show in Los Angeles and now he’s member of the Grammy Academy.
